I am a seasoned investor, author and entrepreneur that brings key business skills, in addition to meaning, purpose and consciousness to my career. I thrive on growth, curiosity and solving problems with creative solutions, from being a part of the founding team that raised and invested over $5 billion into Wall Street's top hedge funds, to building an emerging markets venture and private credit firm with a top quintile track record and an impact on 215 million lives.
I have 20 years of experience working in the venture capital and asset management industries. The deal process is exciting to me and fun to navigate! I am currently the Managing Partner of Beyond Capital Ventures, a venture capital firm focused on the future of global growth, offering a diversified portfolio of companies in "need-to-have" sectors, led by conscious leaders.
Beyond Capital Ventures has grown to be a recognized global brand. BCV was named by Ventureburn as one of 12 venture investors to know in Africa. In addition to BCV’s core venture investment skills, BCV has pioneered a unique communications strategy to reach a wider audience regarding emerging markets and non-concessionary impact investing.
In my role, I serve on corporate boards, including medical distribution business Viebeg Medical, hospital group CarePoint and a board observer seat for a drone delivery company, Redwing Labs.

My Community
I am a pioneer in the field of emerging markets venture and impact investing. I co-hosted four seasons of The Beyond Capital Podcast. I regularly speak to audiences about risk and return in Venture Capital, emerging markets investing, and Becoming a Conscious Investor, in addition to being a panelist at numerous family office conferences. I am also a proud member of Toniic, a community dedicated to helping me deepen my personal impact.
My interests outside of my professional work are mostly creative and related to wellbeing. I am a certified yoga instructor, art collector and have an affinity for architecture and design. I have had a life of inspiration from both of my parents who are working artists and now my art collection comprises prints and photographs of established artists such as Fred Sandback to emerging female sculptor Rana Begum.
I am part of a cherished community of women who over many decades have graduated from Barnard College, Columbia University. I obtained a B.A. in Mathematics, and have completed Executive Education at the Harvard Business School. I completed a certificate in Blockchain Technologies: Business Innovation and Application at MIT Sloan. I live between LA and London with my family and travel often to Kenya and India.
